Women's Leadership Data was released in June 2025 alongside the publication of the journal article. "National Action to Reduce Barriers to and Bias against Women’s Leadership: A Comparative Analysis of Laws and Policies in 193 Countries". This data assesses the quality of laws prohibiting gender discrimination in advancement at work, prohibiting intersecting discrimination in advancement at work, prohibiting caregiving discrimination at work, guaranteeing paid leave to meet family member health needs, and prohibiting sexual harassment at work against leaders in all 193 UN member states. This data draws on data from the Workplace Discrimination database (updated for gender and caregiving available here), data from the Workplace Sexual Harassment database, and Family Health Needs database.
